User asked:

When I type my website name into Messenger in Facebook or in Facebook, as well as the image of the logo, underneath the name I get a caption.

I can’t find where to change this in the theme, so that this doesn’t show up. or that it says something more meaningful, like Lightning in a Bottle Productions or anything else I choose.

I can’t find this text anywhere – been looking in Header, also logo, also searching in the Media, but no luck.

In this case, the user used the album as her website’s front page. Here is our answer to solve the issue:

You use Album as your homepage and in Album there is no much text info that Facebook can use.

For this, best is use SEO plugin, that allows you to add specific information for services like Facebook or Twitter.

I can recommend Yoast SEO https://rifetheme.com/help/docs/plugins-recommendations/yoast-seo/

After activation, configure all its options and then go to edit album on that you use as your front-page and there in this plugin metabox options set all your info.

Follow this for help https://kb.yoast.com/kb/custom-open-graph-tags/

Still, there is a cache on FaceBook, so you might not see a difference immediately, but you can always use this link to clear facebook cache for your page https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/?q=https://lightninginabottle.co.uk/

Generally, once Facebook scraps your page it won’t do it again.

This means that when you shared a post, and the image/description didn’t show up, then playing with plugins won’t make any difference. Unless you will use this link https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ – enter there your page that you are testing.

After your changes are published you will have to use the button “Scrape Again”(on the https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug page).
