How to switch from Free to Pro<\/h2>\n

Best way to move from Rife Free to Rife Pro is:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Install Rife Pro theme & activate it<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Enter License Code that you received in the e-mail<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. You are done & ready to go.<\/li>\n
  4. If you like you can now remove the Rife Free theme, as it is not needed for Pro version to work.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You don’t lose anything<\/h2>\n

    Upgrading from Rife Free to Rife Pro does not affect your content, site settings or theme settings. Both themes are compatible.<\/p>\n

    You just switch theme, and everything is as it was but you have benefits of Rife Pro.<\/p>\n

    Switching Rife Free Child theme to Rife Pro Child theme<\/h2>\n

    If you are not using a child theme, then skip this section.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    With Rife Pro, you get access to Child theme dedicated to Rife Pro especially.<\/p>\n

    Child themes that we add with Rife Free & RIfe pro are very simple, prepared for easy overwriting theme features, languages translation or other modifications.<\/p>\n

    Generally, both Child theme(for Free & Pro versions) are identical. They only differ in reference to the Parent theme. So they mention different slug to the parent theme.<\/p>\n

    So with all of above in mind, to switch child theme from Rife Free to Rife Pro you have 2 option:<\/p>\n

    1st way: Change parent theme slug<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Install Rife Pro theme<\/a>. You don’t need to activate it(Rife Free Child theme should be still active).<\/li>\n
    2. Go to your Rife Free Child theme to file style.css( wp-content\/themes\/rife-free-child-theme\/style.css<\/em> )<\/li>\n
    3. In this file find Template: rife-free<\/code> and replace it with Template: rife<\/code><\/li>\n
    4. Save changes and you are done. Now your changes will show up in the Rife Pro theme.<\/li>\n
    5. Enter License Code that you received in the e-mail<\/a> to activate Rife Pro. You can also do this earlier by activating Rife Pro after installation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      2nd way: Move your changes to Rife Pro Child\u00a0theme<\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. Install Rife Pro theme<\/a>. You don’t need to activate it.<\/li>\n
      2. Install Rife Pro Child theme<\/a>. You don’t need to activate it yet.<\/li>\n
      3. Copy your changes from Rife Free Child theme to Rife Pro Child theme.<\/li>\n
      4. Activate the Rife Pro Child theme.<\/li>\n
      5. Enter License Code that you received in the e-mail<\/a> to activate Rife Pro. You can also do this earlier by activating Rife Pro after installation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
