This can make theme to fail. So if something is not working this is <a href=\"http:\/\/rifetheme.com\/help\/docs\/getting-started\/support-forum\/\">job for our support forum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Theme Server\/WordPress requirements:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PHP Version <\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 <strong>5.6.X at least<\/strong> as it is much better optimized then any older version. If you have possibility you can also switch to PHP 7.X branch &#8211; it is 2 times faster then 5.6 branch. If you need <a href=\"https:\/\/kinsta.com\/?kaid=XTVGRKCSNUSR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hosting with support for PHP 7.2 or newer checkout Kinsta<\/a> &#8211; they have crazy fast hosting that always support fresh technology!<\/li>\n<li><strong>WordPress version<\/strong> &#8211; it is in your best interest to run newest WordPress version possible, as it always has newest security patches and features that we like to use in theme. We require <strong>WordPress 4.7 at least<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PHP Time limit(max_execution_time)<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; We recommend\u00a0<strong>60 seconds<\/strong>\u00a0or more. If you face issues while importing demo data then give it even higher value(for importing time).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Max upload size(upload_max_size)<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Many plugins asks for at least\u00a0<strong>32 MB<\/strong>, and its worth to increase it as well for your convenience.<br \/>\nInstructions how to increase it\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wpbeginner.com\/wp-tutorials\/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress\/\">http:\/\/www.wpbeginner.com\/wp-tutorials\/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>PHP Post max size(post_max_size)<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Many plugins asks for at least\u00a0<strong>32 MB<\/strong>, and its worth to increase it as well for your convenience. It can be tweaked in PHP settings. If you don&#8217;t know how to do it, ask your server administrator about it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>WordPress Memory limit<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; most common source of issues, however can be easily tweaked in your\u00a0<code>wp-config.php<\/code>\u00a0as explained here\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/codex.wordpress.org\/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP\">https:\/\/codex.wordpress.org\/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP<\/a>. We recommend at least\u00a0<strong>96 MB<\/strong>\u00a0of memory for WordPress, but better give it\u00a0<strong>128 MB or more<\/strong>. Just drop this code:\u00a0<code>define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' );<\/code>\u00a0to your\u00a0<code>wp-config.php<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>File system method<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Most hostings got it right, however from time to time we still hear from users that have issue with this.\n<ul>\n<li>When its value is different then\u00a0<code>direct<\/code>\u00a0then it is not problem on its own, but it will be pain in the ass for you, as server will ask you for FTP credentials on every occasion when theme will want to save some settings to files.<\/li>\n<li>Depending what method of connection you will chose you will have to define some constants in\u00a0<code>wp-config.php<\/code>. <strong>This is mostly important for demo data import process.<\/strong> Read more how to do it:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/codex.wordpress.org\/Editing_wp-config.php#WordPress_Upgrade_Constants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WordPress Upgrade Constants<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Most common, when this happens, is using method\u00a0<code>ftpext<\/code>\u00a0or\u00a0<code>ftpsockets<\/code>.
